Pottery and Fused glass are my current passions. My goal is to have whimsical fun while looking for a way to combine the two media. I was really excited that my fish aquariums have achieved that goal. Thank-you to Kelly Edwards (Ceramics Instructor) and Carolyn Garner (Fused Glass Instructor) who are inspiring students to express their creative minds at the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts.
As a glass artist, I use COE 90 glass to create fused designs such as bowls, plates and 3D houses.
As a ceramics artist, I use high fire clay to create a fish salt cellar that is whimsical and practical for the cook in the family. Combining the two media is my current goal.

Virgeen Healey and Ray Schott discovered the clay medium after their respective creative professional careers. Although there is a striking difference in styles, both reflect their personal philosophy of taking pleasure in the ordinary miracles of life.
Cre Maith ~ Gaelic meaning Good Clay, attempts to capture both the grace and the chaos we so often see all around us. Whether it be in their nature themed pieces or their sculptural textured work; organic elements are the focus. All works are hand-built and one-of-a kind allowing for unlimited creative expression.
Two sisters that started with crayons and #2 pencils then developed an interest in clay until they saw a shinny squirrel that led them to fused glass, print making, paper creations and so on and so on. Visit us at the sale and be surprised with our creations.
If my art makes you smile I have done my job!
Like her art, Denise Chai is a mixture of cultures and influences. Her Korean heritage, passion for nature conservation, modern quilting, and appreciation for a beautiful but functional piece for everyday use inform her ongoing explorations in ceramics.
I am a multidisciplinary artist working primarily in ceramics, acrylics, watercolor, and mixed media. My creative practice is driven by a love for storytelling through character, color, and form. Rather than traditional vessels or functional pieces, I focus on sculpting personalities—often eccentric or brimming with whimsy.
My work celebrates the joyful oddities of human and creaturely expression, using bold color palettes and exaggerated features to evoke both laughter and empathy. Whether it’s a robed-bedecked grandpa or a boy in pajamas holding a string of fish, each piece reflects my fascination with the quirks that make life delightfully strange.
I aim to create art that is approachable, humorous, and a little bit magical—pieces that invite viewers to smile, wonder, and imagine the stories behind the faces.

Owner & Creator, Long Dog Art
Kristin Stroh has been a dachshund lover since she was seven years old, and that lifelong affection inspires everything she creates. Based in Little Rock, Arkansas, she’s the heart and hands behind Long Dog Art, where her passion for color takes center stage. Kristin specializes in unique, brightly colored tie-dye apparel, each piece infused with her playful spirit and a dash of dachshund charm.
Her work is more than fashion—it’s a celebration of joy, individuality, and the belief that a splash of color can brighten any day. Whether it’s a shirt, hoodie, or accessory, Kristin’s creations are designed to make people smile, much like the long-bodied pups that started it all.
Laurie Ament, the person behind isinglass Design has been making lampwork glass beads since 1999. It all started with a kit and a book and lots of practice. She is now on the faculty at the Windgate Art School at AMFA. Over the years, she has added felting, ceramics and sumingashi art to her repertoire. Her work can be found at select craft shows, or take a peek at her etsy shop.

I am an emerging visual artist based in Little Rock Arkansas USA. I am inspired by nature and use it for some materials as well as subject matter in my work. I love to use paint brush to create and decorate my art. The act of physically brushing and making my mark is therapeutic. The color scheme I choose are typically colorful. I do realistic work rather than abstract. Often, my art style turns out childlike and cute.
In 3D I do hand building ceramics with low fire clay. I decorate by
